Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Xenon, operated by Xenon Digital Limited ("we", "us", "our") from Auckland, New Zealand.

What Xenon does

Xenon analyses your bank transaction data and email to identify and organise your digital subscriptions. We provide a subscription inventory, monitoring for changes, and alerts about trials converting to paid plans.

What Xenon does not do

Xenon does not cancel subscriptions on your behalf. Xenon does not negotiate prices, manage passwords, or provide financial advice. Subscription information is provided as-is based on the data you give us — we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy of detection.

Your account

You sign in using a third-party authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person per account — accounts are not transferable.

Your data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to Xenon (bank transactions, email access). We process this data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect, store, and how we handle your information.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@goxenon.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Xenon to process data belonging to someone else without their consent
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from Xenon
  • Use Xenon in any way that violates applicable law

Free and paid tiers

Free tier: Upload bank transactions and receive a one-time subscription inventory. Your snapshot is available for 30 days, after which you can re-upload to refresh it.

Paid tier: Ongoing email monitoring, weekly digests, trial conversion alerts, and a continuously maintained inventory. Pricing is displayed at the point of upgrade and is inclusive of GST where applicable.

Payments and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor. You can cancel your subscription at any time. On cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. Your data is preserved — nothing is deleted on downgrade.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Service availability

We aim to keep Xenon available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or experience outages. We will notify users of planned downtime where practical.

AI-assisted classification

Xenon uses AI services to classify transactions and emails. AI classification is not perfect — results are presented for your review and confirmation. You make the final decision about what appears in your subscription inventory.

Limitation of liability

Xenon is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986), we are not liable for:

  • Subscriptions that Xenon fails to detect
  • Incorrect classification of transactions
  • Financial loss arising from reliance on Xenon's information
  • Actions taken or not taken based on Xenon's alerts (including missed trial conversion warnings)

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under New Zealand consumer protection law where those rights cannot be excluded.

Beta programme

During the beta period, Xenon is provided at no cost or at reduced pricing. Beta features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. Your feedback during beta helps us improve the product and is appreciated. We may contact you for feedback during the beta period.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Xenon evolves. Continued use of Xenon after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will notify you via email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
